---------------------- www.psychlotron.org.uk ---------------------- Name of resource: Freud's stages sequencing task Submitted by: Aidan Sammons Specification details: AQA-A Module 4 Personality development Other specifications: All Guidance: A drag and drop sequencing task in which students move tiles around to create a table of Freud's stages of psychosexual development. Requires MSIE5.5 or better and a decent resolution display - test before using. Untested with other browsers but should work OK. Can be unzipped onto the desktop of a machine or uploaded to a VLE *however* it will only work if all the files are uploaded and the directory structure is preserved. "Finished" button checks that all tiles have been sequenced correctly. "Hint" button colours the sets of tiles to make them easier to organise. I use this as a learning exercise in which students have a complex text about F's stages and must use the information therein to produce a table. Would also work as a revision activity, and possibly with an interactive whiteboard but I haven't tried this. IMPORTANT: in order for the table to print correctly, users must select: file>>print>>properties>>paper from the browser menu, and set 'orientation' to landscape.
